It’s All Fun & Games Until You Bring Up Bin Laden

All hail the Twitter turf war.

For the last week, ex-Viking (and ex-Packer) safety Darren Sharper, now a Saint, has been chirping back and forth with current Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe.  You remember what happened last year, right? The Saints beat up Favre in that NFC title game and went on to win the Super Bowl. Favre took pictures of his bruises, and then months later did a back-and-forth on whether he would get surgery.

If you haven’t been following this latest development, BASICALLY, Sharper poked fun at Brett for getting the surgery, Shiancoe poked back, the whole thing devolved to name-calling and double-dog dares, and then Shiancoe compared Sharper to Osama.  You know…typical guy stuff.

Sharper42: Well y’all seen Brett had surgery on that ankle we got after in the championship game. Come Thursday night 1st game. X marks the spot.

Now, there are a couple different ways to look at all of this.  Me? I’m looking forward to that match-up in September. What’s your take?
