Welcome to the newest Packers blog where we hope to take a serious, yet fun look at the Green Bay Packers, their players and fans.  The idea behind this blog was born the day Brett Favre decided he might sign with the Vikings.  As loyal Packers fans (Packers fans first, before Favre fans) we were terribly disheartened by Brett’s decision.  The Jets…ok.  The Vikings…not ok.  When Sconnie Nation came out with the “We’ll Never Forget You Brent” t-shirt we knew there’d be a movement around Brent’s decision to play for the Vikings and fans’ reactions.  We began to capture this emotion and started a dialogue on our “We’ll Never Forget You Brent” Facebook Page.  The Page has since grown to over 7,000 fans, many of who contribute to the Page.  In order to formalize our editorializing we wanted to create a legitimate blog, and thus BrentFavre.com was born (kinda like PerezHilton.com…but about Packers football and not celebrity gossip).

We have many bloggers contributing to this project, all of whom we are very excited about.  You’ll be able to read them report on topics such as Packers personnel, match-ups, league news, fantasy football, Favre drama, Aaron Rodgers domination and diehard fans.  We encourage you to subscribe to the blog and become a regular reader.  If there’s anything you’d ever like to see on the blog or if you have general comments/suggestions, please send us an email to info@brentfavre.com.
